TL;DR: Your data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or sell your personal information. All AI processing happens locally.
Our Philosophy
At Optamize, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. Our apps are designed from the ground up to respect your privacy by processing everything locally on your device.
Data Collection
We collect zero personal data. Specifically:
- No user accounts or registration required
- No analytics or tracking
- No crash reporting that includes personal data
- No advertising or ad tracking
- No data sharing with third parties
Local Processing
All Opta apps process data entirely on your device:
- Opta MacOS: System telemetry and optimization happen locally. Your performance data never leaves your Mac.
- Opta Scan: Document scanning and OCR use on-device AI. Your scanned documents are stored only on your device and iCloud (if you enable it).
- Opta LM: Calendar and task data sync through your own accounts (Google, Apple, Todoist). We never see or store your data.
Third-Party Services
Some apps integrate with third-party services at your request:
- iCloud: If you enable iCloud sync, your data syncs through Apple's secure infrastructure.
- Google Calendar: Direct API connection using OAuth. We never store your Google credentials.
- Todoist: Direct API connection. Your tasks stay between you and Todoist.
Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device using secure system APIs:
- macOS: Sandboxed app container with Keychain for sensitive data
- iOS: App sandbox with Keychain Services
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your data, you have complete control:
- Delete the app to remove all data
- Export your data anytime from within the app
- Revoke third-party service access from your account settings
